The Defense Appropriations Bill (HR 4205) currently working its way through Congress has 2 very bad provisions in it, Sections 361 and 362, which concern de-militarization of government property.
The long and short of it is that these provisions give the Feds power to require the owners of former gov't equipment to de-mil any items found to be worthy of such effort. This includes YOUR M37, WC Series Dodge, M880, M601, M38, M1-Garand, etc. If Uncle Sam once owned it, he wants to be able to tell you what you can do with it!
Please call your Congressman and Senators and tell them you want these sections removed from the bill, or you will remove them from Washington. It is their job to listne to you!
