I have a 1962 WM300 that has 7.00 tires on it. The info plate in the door frame says it has 5.83 (or is it 5.89?) gears. Was that the orginal tire size for those gears? How do I tell if I have orginal wheels that may have had 9.00 tires on them? I assume the smaller tires (7.50) will not fit on the bigger wheels. Next question. I live in Virginia. Where could I get the bigger (9.00) wheels, in good condition, that won't cost me a lot for shipping? Any info/suggestions greatly appreciated, as I need tires now and I would like to go to the 9.00 size. I do use it on the highway.
