Advance Adapters makes a 1.00" thick plate adapter to adapt a 67-87 GM bellhousing (5.125" pilot diameter) to the NV4500, Dodge version. So all you have to do is make your bellhousing "look like" a GM bellhousing, bolt this to it, and attach the 4500 to it and you have a 0.74 overdrive (4.316:1 with 5.83s). You must mill out the center hole a bit to 5.125" and have 4 new holes drilled in the GM pattern. I do not know if they will interfere with anything. The input shaft may be 0.5-1" too short, that's not insuperable with an "extended pilot bushing" and perhaps a custom clutch disk. The main hangup is still the length, the 4500 is about 18 or 20" long in 2WD configuration. Might as well go for a married NP 205 with a hybrid NP200/205 transfer case with offset rear output on a 205 using the 200s rear output shaft and rear output bearing retainer. Or even a married NP203/205 Doubler for 130:1 low range.
