The cup/cone bearings do not need replacing unless they are pitted, rough, scored, etc.. Cups and cone will have numbers on them making it easy to get replacements. I don't know if you have the two shaft PTO: 1 shaft for the reverse gear and 1 for an idler gear. Dependening what the truck was used for, you may have a lot of wear on the shafts and bearings if the PTO was used alot, you may need to replace these. You should'nt have any problems finding the bearing and seals, but shafts are difficult. The only adjustment is the drive shaft bearings, and you adjust until their is no end-end play in the shaft. Even if the bearings are pitted alittle, it does not mean you have to replace, they still can be used, unless you are a heavy winch user.
