Generally speaking, I mentioned buildcards b/c it's typical to see paperwork in these types of auctions to validate originality.

They are available. If not provided by a seller, one could view it as a flaw as to the originality of the vehicle (especially if the options did not match) thus the potential for a lower bid.

However, i tend to agree with Clint and likely yourself. A buildcard does not necessarily account for all options; namely options may have been added after the factory by dealers.

Anyone ever see a dealer invoice for an early WDX?
