You mention in the listing that there are brackets on the rear crossmember that appear to be those from a 3-point hitch.

The Monroe Auto Equipment Company had yet to begin producing 3-point hitches for Power-Wagons in 1946. They started developing their first hitch for the Jeep Universal in 1947 and introduced it early in 1948. During this same time they bought out the Newgren Company of Toledo, Ohio. Newgren had marketed 3-point hitches for the Jeep, but not for the Power-Wagon. Monroe introduced the hitch for the Power-Wagon shortly after it was proven on the Jeep. The first it appeared in Dodge literature was in 1949.

It would be interesting if these are indeed 3-point hitch brackets. Hitches were available through Dodge dealers and I have often wondered if any were installed by dealers or owners on older trucks.

There was also at least one prototype hitch produced by Monroe for the Power-Wagon. It would be even more exiting to find parts of one of these. They may have used an older truck to use in developing the prototype. By the shape and placement of the brackets I should be able to tell if they are prototype or production parts. Do you happen to have good images of the rear of the frame of #15?
