There are a lot of junk u-joints out there to be had. About a year ago I had to replace some u-joints in my truck. I went to my local parts store and bought some precesion u-joints and put them in. The truck had almost the same vibration after I had instaled the new ones. I took them out and found the bearing cups weren't even tight to the needle bearings, there was a ton of slop. I brought them back to the parts store and complained, they said they sell a ton of them and had no complaints. So I went to Napa and asked for some. The counter guy brought them out. I opened them up and found a ton of play with them too, I told him to keep them. I finally had to go to the dealer and pay thru the nose for some good ones that were tight. Long story short, you get what you pay for.
