To my 'knowledge' , the Power Giant Series W300 was the first to have Dana 70 Axles. What if Dodge got a great deal on Dana 70 Rear axles from Dana, but the Axles had the Spring Saddles welded on at a angle not desired by Dodge Engineers. Taking advantage of a good deal, Dodge bought them and then used a tapered lift block to bring the Pinion angle into spec of the Dodge Engineers ?

My Power Wagons, WC and M37 have pinion angles varying from 5 to 7 degrees UP. My W300 is at 4.5 degrees Up..... Since this was a non stock/future design setup, maybe that is why its missing in the parts book
