In my PW I used a remote mounted cable driven unit available from any of the hot rod suppliers or ebay. It consists of a standard heavy duty 2 speed motor with a cable that is encased in an aluminum sleeve and then two wiper shafts and mounts. The aluminum sleeve that holds the cable was easy to route through the pillar up to the header. The motor mounted under the dash.
