talking about 6.5 wheels
numbers all over the place so to speak
rim numbers on outer flange and i found them
on the inside of the wheel when i had them
apart and was cleaning them up. numbers on
outside of lock rings as i have 1 46wheel (thanks ken S) 2 original 48 wheels and 3 52
wheels have quite a few different brands
most have a GY stamp along with standard inspection brand stamp. when it warms up
i will crawl under and get some numbers for you.
as a post script the opening between ends of the lock ring must not be less than 3/32"or exceed 5/16"
(1972 tire & rim association yearbook)
I do not know how many companies made these
wheels
I think most of mine are GY mfgr
I wrote all the numbers down when i mounted
the NATOs about 6 years ago but have no idea
where i put the paper.
