Jonas,

All the original 1960 116" WB W100-W200 trucks with Sweptline beds have longer frames to allow for the 8 foot Sweptline bed instead of the 7 1/2 foot Utiline bed. Skip's W200 has 6 inches of U-Channel added to the back of the frame. Also every 1960 W100-W200 I have looked at with a Factory Sweptline bed has the filler neck hole in the same location, with the same triangle shaped metal piece over the neck inside the bed. Skip's truck does not have the factory details on the bed.

I think either someone repainted the whole truck years ago, or someone found a bed that was painted the right color and just made it fit. It is not done like the other factory trucks though, and I inspected the frame myself when I was there in 2003.

I have LOTS of pictures of original trucks, and his bed and frame just do not match.

Eric
