It was listed as a tractor roof radio. I have a copy of a 1956 Town Wagon sales writeup from the dealer and a radio was $69.50 in 1956. The four wheel drive option was a whooping $943.00. Air cleaner was only $4.25. The whole truck with v-8 was $3,240.25 wish i was around then.
