Im just installing 4.89 gears in the front axle to match the rear and have the front axle compleatly apart. I found the lower trunion bearings bad the races are like a washboard. The upper bronze bushing and races are like new they also have a grease fitting.I was thinking of adding a grease fitting to lower cap like the right top has or take two right tops that have fittings and put on the bottom I matched a couple up and they are the same only with fittings.Then every time I grease it I could give it a couple shots.I was wondering if anyone has done this before.
