I believe I have unfairly placed blame on my truck when I have neglected to make adequate preparations. Thank you all for making that painfully clear... A moment of weakness that I don't wish to repeat.
Now, electrical seems to be the first order of business. I'll tighten up the belt and check for proper charging from the alternator. Battery and alternator are both new.
Fuel seems to be in good supply with new in-line pump and filter.
When I got the truck the front drive line was out. Now that its back in the 4x4 shift lever takes several solid hits with the palm to disengage. Not a problem if that is normal but it seems like more work than it should be.
Now to get to work and quit whining.
