Fuel seems to be in good supply. It does have a new electric, in-line fuel pump and in-line fuel filter.
The battery doesn't seem to be charging. I have a modern 100 amp alternator in it and I just finished the wiring this fall. Belts need to be tightened some to stop the squealing and that may help with charging. I haven't had time yet to check the alternator to see how much it's putting out.
Fixing the electrical would get it running consistently. On top of that there are the oil leaks and the transfer case doesn't like to shift out of 4 wheel drive. Have to push pretty hard on the lever. Also, the gas pedal spring is probably too loose as it doesn't return completely which causes the engine to idle too high.
Conglomeration of various problems add up to the frustration.
I will say that it did well pushing the snow when it was running.
It's a simple machine - can't be all that hard to fix it. Thanks for the help.
