The link to the Winching website is great. Excellent resource that I was not aware of. A great manual on winching, rigging and making all sorts of "dead man" for winching is a US Army Field Manual. Its been years since I've seen one, but I think its one from the Combat Engineers. Google can put you in touch with sources for the manuals. The Portrayal Press may have it or know of it as well.
