1. at idle pull off each plug wire one at a time.
if the engine does not slow when the wire is removed make sure you have spark to that wire if not then check cap & wire. then when you have done all six remove the plugs and check compression noting those cylinders that did not have an effect on engine speed.
(quick test is to use your thumb if you do not have a compression gauge as you can tell
if a cyl has a stuck or burnt valve as the
pressure on your thumb will be lower).
if compression is even then inspect each plug
and replace those that are black or fouled.
if the engine slowed the same as you removed each plug wire then as has been suggested
check for vacuum leaks. (use vacuum gauge to
check).
you might want to perform these easy tasks
post results & we can go on to #2
