These old Dodges had very little, 1-2°. Or is it negative? Usual vehicles 4-6. But the more caster, the harder it is to steer. Certainly a good idea to shim some more in when going to power steering.

You'll want shims to twist the axle rearwards at the top to make more positive caster.

Hmmm, I wonder if variations in caster between vehicles is why some guys have better luck flat towing than others?

And another "I wonder", are the front spring packs built with the axle off center, so that as the springs sag with age, caster changes in one direction on purpose?
