What I've learned is the whole setup is different between the military and civvy, so I have to swap the pulley, the hub, and the timing cover. To get the hub off, I need to pull the radiator and put an impact wrench on the hand-crank bolt. The timing cover is behind the front motor mount bracket, so maybe I have to block up the motor and move that as well? In any case, since I'm snowed out of where my parts trucks are, any of that is going to have to wait until next season. I'll just put it back together with the civilian pulley and see how it works. I need to get the truck drivable at least.

Does anybody know if a civilian crank pulley will spin the military generator fast enough to make it generate at reasonable RPMs?
