That's interesting because when I pulled the one off of the military engine, it just took out the 6 bolts, and pried it a little bit and it slid right off the hub. If it was supposed to be crimped on, it wasn't very tight. If I understand you right, the machined hub and the sheet metal pulley are supposed to come off together.
