Does anyone have information on rebuilding a belt pulley from a Ford tractor? I have one that will eventually go on my 52 B3. I would like to replace the bearings and seals so I started taking it apart last night and found there are probably a couple of "tricks" to getting it apart that I don't know. I think the bolt that holds the drive gear (pinion gear?) might be left hand threads but have no way of knowing for sure. It looks like the driven shaft (where the pulley resides) is removed through a large opening opposite the pulley end. It looks like that opening is closed by a pressed in sheet metal "plug". I don't want to take a chance on damaging it by not knowing the correct way to take it apart.
