The industrial series A and B belt numbers do not directly reflect the length. For a B number you add 3 to get the length, for an A you add 2 to the number. Now the 4L and 5L belt numbers do reflect the actual length, ie, a 5L520 will be a 52" belt. Where as a B52 will be 55". The pulleys are gooved for B or 5L belts with a 21/32nd top width. An A belt will not fit correctly.I have two generators, both have a pulley OD of about 3.5". Let us know what happens.
