And if you have a factory heat gauge for a 1953 that will work as it is mechanical.
The other gauges are electrical, and I am pretty sure they should be replaced with 12V versions, but I may be wrong.
As for your dash, when you get the truck cleaned up a bit take some more pictures, those were kind of dark, so it is hard to tell what it going on.
Maybe someone can figure out from better pictures what happened to that truck over the years.
