I have to ask,, Is it elected representatives that negotiate trade agreements & tarrifs??? If so then they have negotiated a fair trade/tarrif for all citizens,,, If they haven`t then thats where to start,,, If it is not fair are American car cos. lobbying them & have they been since 1970???? Canada & the USA are constantly negotiating (softwood lumber is a biggie) Canada has been tarriffed lots of times & negotiations have helped,, Big brother controls,,, that is the way it is. You are our biggest customer. Governments appear to hinder the capatalistic way. I am just trying to say that this is a very large integrated system that may involve hundreds of things us mere mortals will never know about. There are more "theorys & rumors" out there than softwood trees in Canada,, We are supposed to have free trade,, I bought a shirt & a couple of nice, made in USA hats,,, paid more in duty, tax, delivery & don`t remember all else than was the merchandise,,, not sure where that money went U.S. or Canukistan govt??? or both,,, Just won`t ever do it again,,, probably by a Chinese hat hahaha GB
