M37 heater question

I just bought a bunch of M37 stuff, including the fender mounted heater kit. It seems pretty complete, but I was curious if there is a rigid elbow that comes off the reducer from the heater and into the side of the cab, or, is that a piece of flexible ducting that makes the bend?
Anyone have a copy of the installation instructions for the heater?
Still looking for a drivers seat back cushion.
