"From an email from Gary Pavlovich;
Polyheads,

Roller rockers are ready for the Poly now.
I will need three orders at $800 a set to get the first three roller rocker sets made; price decreases with more orders but at this price I am hoping for the three orders needed for production.

Yes, they are expensive, about $250 more than the best LA roller rocker set but that is the price of admission for a quality set of Poly Roller Rockers.
The material is 2024 aluminum - a cold finished casting with superior strength over the Comp Cams/Crane offerings.

I am not benefiting from these three or any future orders in any way, just trying to complete the circle of true High Performance Poly parts to the few that take their engines to the next level.
Our mfgr. is not making a normal profit on the creation of these roller rockers either; I am thankful that he has even committed to the project.

Poly Roller Camshafts are in the near future.

Please forward any orders and serious inquiries to me off-list at glpavlovich@cox.net
Thank you,
Gary"

An additional follow up was provided this afternoon after several questions were asked:
"Norm,

I will verify the answers I give you;

1) There should be no clearance problems in stock valve covers.
2) They will work with both solid lifter/hyd. lifter cam applications.
3) I will dyno my engine with the rockers after completion, however, I expect any HP gains to be commensurate with the numbers Crane/Isky/Comp Cams achieves; 25HP estimates have been touted but not verified on LA/RB installations. Certainly, the addition of roller rockers is the first building block to further HP enhancements when adding high lift flat tappet cams/roller cams/generally more HP scenarios that requires less friction and improved durability to make all the components work as designed and to their optimum.

The roller rocker sets will be made from 2024 stock aluminum which is a cold-finished casting techinque having superior "waves" of grain as opposed to the lateral grain materials used in the aforementioned Cam company's products; all in all a superior material for severe duty and longevity.

The rockers will be bushed and not employ needle bearings for several reasons; firstly, the needle bearing models have not shown the same consistent reliability as bushed rockers nor have consistently proven to be a measurable friction reducer for the cost/reliability/rpm characteristics we are considering here.

The roller rocker set comes with hard chromed shafts with the appropriate Rockwell hardness characteristics needed for high RPM operation and wear reduction."

I will add that Gary mentioned that one set is sold, so he only needs two more sets to get this going. You can contact Gary directly, post here, or email me if you are interested.
Don't let a Big Headed Canadian beat you to Poly Performance....= )
They should work very well with the DTA Headers!
