and get a 489 r&p or complete third member from a 1/2 ton. mercedes got their hands on my command car in the 50s and installed a large rear third member and small front - both with 583s. bob stahl replaced the rear with a new r&P and rebuilt my front with a 489 small r&p from his stock. call him.
