Todd: drain the oil and refill with 5 quarts. check the dipstick and ensure you don't overfill. The engine can be seriously harmed by overfilling the crankcase as the crank shaft spins in the oil!. Tha spinning crank will aerate the oil causing loss of oil pressure and bearing damage. First thing Todd is to check out the truck and get a manual. They are easy to order..Investigate the engine after your familiar with the design.
