The NOS heater kits are getting scarce. MWM had them for $550, so assuming you paid less than that, you scored. If nothing else in the truck is 24 volts, I would just run the heater on 12 volts. It will still blow, just not as vigorously. There are also 12 to 24 volt inverters available (APB might sell them), but they're expensive and they're probably overkill for this. Or, if you're not trying to be authentic, swap in any civilian 12 volt blower motor that will fit the mounting.

A lot of guys have created endless frustrating problems by trying to combine 12 and 24 volt accessories in the same system. The batteries don't charge evenly and so they're always going bad. On a true 24 volt system, you might get away with running one low-drain accessory like a radio off the 12 volt "tap", but even that is asking for trouble. Best to keep things to all 12 volt or all 24 volt.
