I think this is a move to protect the GM's, Ford's, and Chrysler's of the world. If you are buying an M-35 series truck at govliquidation, you are not buying a new Dodge, Ford, or GM whatever. You can argue all you want about rights, etc. But when it comes down to it, the US Govt is going to decide what to do with what it owns. The clowns flying to DC in private jets to beg congress for money have a bigger say on this than we do. And if they see a chance to eliminate competition (surplus trucks), they'll take it.
