Do not try to drive them out, the end will mushroom and you will never get them out. I use a big C Clamp as in the picture. Put it in the pin as shown, then I heat the hinge and keep cranking on the clamp. I have never had a pin that did not release with heat and the clamp. Be sure to use a large quality clamp that will take some abuse.
