While disassembling my 53 M37 I realized that the original color was navy blue. It is under the floors, the frame and in places a re-paint would never get. Then, there is OD on top of the blue, where a re-paint would hit. Would this truck have started out belonging to the Navy? and then shift over to the Army later on? It isnt a Marine Corp truck as it hasnt got the paper clip tie downs.
Or, was the vehicle just before it on the assembly line blue and they just shot it with what was still in the paint pot?
