Regardless of who won lets's stand behind our president and our country. That's what makes us such a great nation. It's the office, not so much the man IMHO. I've been a Republican since my first vote, but perhaps change is good. Every 8 years the baby gets thrown out with the bath water and that's what happened here. Remember when Clinton was the dog and Bush the knight in white shining armor? Get over it, and get with it. I felt as though both McCain and Obama gave outstanding speeches last night. Did some vote because of skin color, sure they did. Some voted for because he was black, and some voted against because he wasn't white! On that note, remember he is half white. If he chooses to call himself African American, so be it. I wonder just how white does someone have to be before he's considered acceptable, 3/4, 7/8? Bottom line here is rather than just sit back and complain, do something about it. Get involved in politics and contribute something other than racist comments and fear mongering. It's very easy to sit on the sidelines and b---h, gripe, moan and complain. Although I didn't vote for Obama, I respect him and wish him and our country well.
