They have been brainwashed to think that America's friendship with Israel is solely because Jews control America. They fault Israel and take the arab side, mainly out of fear because they have very high arab populations in Europe, especially France, Germany and England.
Europeans are not as sophisticated, open minded, or nuanced as many would like us to believe.
There are however, many hundreds of millions of Europeans who are open minded, not prejudiced, free market advocates who believe in fairness and ethics, we call them, immigrants to America....
