The "poles" in this building are done the same way Morton does theirs and the way I did mine in Home Pa on my 48x76 pole barn. Sandwich three treated 2x8s and then extend the poles with untreated material. If you have ever cut a treated 8x8 or even 6x6 you will see that the treatment doesn't pentitrate the pole. Also do not even think of setting them in concrete as it shrinks when it dries and then holds water against the pole. I am not sure where you are but if you are near Indiana PA I can reccomend a builder.....Mark
