I have read many of the comments that sound pretty good as I was taking a break from reading a Wildlife habitat restoration report here at work. A few questions that I would have for you are: 1) you say that the pond is 30+ yrs old, what is the depth, size, and what type of fish curently are in the pond, 2)is the pond covered with grasses or algae,3) the fish that are in the pond are they stunted in size.,and 4)are you planning on doing any work on the pond before you stock? I have 3 ponds on my farm and 6yrs ago built my 3rd pond and did some stocking of the last one. Currently, my last pond now has 5-6 lb large mouth and some really nice bluegills. The Triploid Grass Carp are a plus but most state require a permit to have them before you can purchase. Any question send me a email.
