First off the 61-66 fenders are the same, no difference in the wheel flares. You can't use an earlier fender unless you use a section from the rear of the flare forward. This leaves you with repairing the fender or locating a replacement. Not impossible to find a front fender but it may take some patience. As mentioned without seeing the damage it would be hard to assess if it could be repaired. I have pulled a few back from the brink but there are limitations. John Giedl may have some fenders and I know he has a perfect pair which have been on eBay in the past. I do make a repair panel for the common rust through on the rear edge of these panels.
