It started out dark blue, and was painted red at the first buyer's request (at the Ford dealer, according to his surviving friend), but used for logging rather than fire.
Some day I will paint it all blue again. Right now it is a mix of faded red, blue showing through, and surface rust!
The fenders were originally black, and are now after nearly all the red paint has left. That black paint seems particularly heavy duty!
