I've had Mustang loaders since 91 and they have been very trouble free. Around here Bobcat is very popular because of the dealer in the area. The other brands are gaining market share as the pricing and service has gotten better. I liked the Mustang because of the single T handle control and they are easy for new operators to learn to operate. Mustang offers most popular controls that other brands have too. My only drawback is the original Mustang single lever attachment system that only they had. Now the industry standard is the Bobcat two lever hookup which does not allow me to rent attachments. I do have a number of my own to get full use from my machine. One of the major reasons for picking a machine is will it do the job intended? The next is dealer support in my opinion so you can get parts and service to reduce downtime. After that it's personal preference like anything else. Mustangs are simple machines like our Dodge trucks with minimal electronics to hassle with. Whatever you buy get a set of loader forks for moving just about anything, they are invaluable. Just my opinion.
