since my truck was broken into in june, I can tell you here in CT if your property is found you are supposed to get it back. I am still waiting for my recovered TomTom gps to be returned by the courts. The value of it was over the amount they have set so they had to hold onto it for evidence. the kid didn't show up for his court date so I guess when they finally get him the tomtom will be to old to be of any use. My truck was broken into 2 weeks later and they stole $4k worth of tools. (Can't prove it was the same kid and he has an alibi. It was obviously a buddy of his)They I scouted out the pawn shops for them. those scum were of no help. If they had any of my tools they cops would sieze them and the pawn shop would get nothing.
