I found this to be a VERY useful thread.

Got home from work today, and with nothing more than a 3/4" socket on a short breaker bar, and a floor jack, got all 8 cam adjustors set, some almost a full turn.

The brakes went from a low, weak pedal to a high tight pedal, and now all four brakes WORK and the truck stops without locking the left rear wheel, the previous situation.

When I got the truck, only the left rear brake, worked, kind of, the right rear had a leaking wheel cylinder and hub seal, and the fronts had been disconnected and the line plugged. Four wheel cylinders, two front brake hoses, rear hub seals, inner and outer, front right wheel bearing adjustment. Now the truck is pretty much safe to drive.

The new COOP Grip Spur tires should be in at the local COOP tomorrow, 10 miles from the house, so the the truck will have the first outing outside the holler for the trip for tires.

Howard
