It's a sad commentary on how are country has changed. People getting upset when they interrupt their soap operas with news about a military operation with OUR soldiers going in. I think their response to this person was top notch and SHOULD get national attention but I'm sure our media will bury it as it doesn't have the right "feel".
Can you imagine the reaction of people today if they had to do the sacrificies and WORK normal citizens did during WWII? They would be up in arms that THEIR lives have been interrupted. Much the same way I notice some people act when a funeral procession goes through and insection when their light is green.
Maybe this person would feel better if they heard whispering in another language outside their window at night instead of those loud jets. Think about it. Kevin
