Some of the severe off-roaders will use non-graded bolts for their hubs. This becomes their fuse for breakage. Instead of blowing hubs, the non-graded bolts will give way, thus saving the expense of a new hub. Some will not use all the bolts either to fine-tune their breakage. On the same thinking, the bolts are only snug-tight, so when it does break they are able to remove the broken parts easily with a punch and hammer. Nothing worse then snapping a bolt that you know is torqued down really tight...

Take it for what it is worth. These guys are routinely checking their truck for loose bolts and may not be necessarily driving on the roads.
