Progress on the WC 59/60

Sandblasted the combat rims. Primed with epoxy primer. Top coated with Olive Drab Shade #8 from TM9 Ordinance products. Mounted the Michelin XL 11.00x16 tires (thanks to Joel F.) with new tubes from ITT. Gas tank redone by Gas Tank Renu. Replaced exhaust manifold. Reconditioned intake manifold. Installed VPW rebuilt carb. Thanks to John S. #1 and #2 for all the help.

Fired it up under its own power and the gas tank hooked up this evening. Next steps are to mount the front fenders, hang the muffler and exhaust, and try to get the headlights hooked up. I'm anxious to see how the truck does on the WV trails with the 218 engine, single speed transfer case and 11.00x16 tires. Anyone else run this combination without a locker?
