I will start right off and admit I'm a builder, not a mechanic. But I have had lots of experience with running out of gas. :-) Isn't it true that water settles to the bottom of the tank anyway? The glass bowls should be emptied and replaced. Turn the motor over with the starter and see if the bowls fill back up with gas. If so, it should start. If not, you might have a plugged fuel line or a bad fuel pump. JH
