We showcased the WC6 this weekend at a WWII event in Williamsport, Maryland. What a show stopper and photo magnet for the little kids and not so little.

As the sole army guy member of the local Marine Corps League (Associate), I kid the fellas about this not being the first time army equipment was used by the Corps. I keep threatening to throw a real thin coat of Marine Green over the Army OD, so that the army numbers sort of bleed through. I'd also want the Corps serial number stencils to be obviously something that had been applied in extreme haste.

I've been working my way through a perplexing problem. In the course of working out a front-end shimmy, my alignment guy (old guy, honest, knows his stuff) told me that I had a bent left-rear wheel. Okay, could be possible. I've got plenty of wheels, so we swapped the spare - new rubber, balanced, etc. CC drove better but good thing Laurie was following behind: she told me the left rear was wobbling noticeably. I took her on a test drive, found a straight stretch of deserted road, aimed her straight, and hung way over the side for a look see. Yup. Lots of run-out. Could we be dealing with a bent wheel flange at this point?

If so, what am I facing? How complicated is fixing this? Am I replacing the left-rear axle? Anybody got a good one? This is a fantastic vehicle and I want it to run as well as possible for a 67 year old road beast. Thanks as always. This Forum is the Bomb!
