PW 6x6 Questions

I recently picked up a WM300 PW with a WC 6x6 rear end mated to it. The connection of the two frames was not done very well and had a bunch of fish plate added. Both frames are completely shot, but the engine and drivetrain are good.

I am getting two good frames to rebuild this truck. Has anyone got advice on mating the frames together? The main difference in the frames is that the 6x6 frame rakes upward at a 30 degree angle or so just rearward of the cab. Since I will use the PW transfer case for the lower gear reduction, I would like to use the PW frame at least as far back as the transfer case crossmember. I'm hoping to overlap the inner PW frame rail and the outer 6x6 frame rail for at least 18" or so. Has anyone else here done this with good results? How about contact info for Bob Johnson who did the PW 6x6 with the Cummins?
