A few years ago, a friend was selling a 1972 Chevy truck. I bought the factory Western plow (electric over hydraulic). Installation was as easy as removing the front brace holding the winch and replacing it with the one from the Chevy - just need to match drill the mounting holes. The bottom brace mounted to the original bumper extension holes after welding on a piece of angle iron on each side of the brace. The only holes needed in the PW were 2 in each side of the frame to hold the kickers to the bottom brace. I thought it was an easy retrofit. Hope this is useful.
