Interesting!! It seems the design was not adoted/copied by any of the other major plow companies over the years. I wonder if removing the springs from the design caused undue stress/breakages to trucks?

I know plowing is wearing out my front springs. My M37 uses the truck lift brackets above the front bumpers as the attachment points for the plow A-frame support assembly. The A-frame is raised and lowered by the LU4 winch via a pully on top of the vertical support assembly (imagine an open rectangle with the edges made of 5" tube and an inverted "V" on top holding a pulley, brackets mid-way on the height facing away from the plow to attach to the truck's lift brackets, and the plow's A-frame mount brackets on the bottom horizontal rectangle side). The mouldboard is angled by pulling a 3/4" vertical pin on the lower A-frame and rotating the plow to another pin point on a sliding curved rail - that looks very much like yours.

I copied the general design from Carter Davidson's M37. The mount does not require permanent modifications to the truck and can be removed in 5 min. It can take 20 min to attach it to the truck.
