I still haven't raised my collapsed shed -- been working on it all week just to shore up what's left so it doesn't fall on my, tear out the smashed wall, and remove the wrecked hood and other cab parts of "Stu" (1962 Studebaker M35) which got the worst of the collapse and is now holding up the west end of it. Still have to fold down the windshield of Stu, which is stuck, so I can get one of the lifting logs up in place. Cut 16 15' pine poles, 2 36' poles, and 2 40' logs to use in my scheme to raise the roof assembly and prop it up while I build new walls underneath. Most everything's in place now to commence lifting. Fortunately I'm in the middle of a pine forest. Didn't even have to cut any live trees. Been using the M37 for skidding and the M543 for lifting. Had a dusting of snow on the hills on the way out today, which is lighting a fire under my tail to start making real progress. I don't know if I can get it done before the snow hits or not, but if I don't everything will be about a foot high by next spring.
